completion. At the foot of the vault, the tomb of the unknown soldier pays
homage to the 1.3 million French soldiers who died in the course of the First
World War. Observe how the eternal flame is lit each night time at 6:30 pm. In
addition, an inescapable exhibition explains the symbolic importance of this
monument. The view from the top of the vault is well worth hiking the 284
steps. From your privileged position, watch throughout Paris.
And the next step in your tour package is the Seine River cruise. Be
impressed with your boat excursion through the rich historical homes of Paris;
Eiffel Tower, Statu de los angeles Liberte, Cite de la Mode, Hotel de Ville,
Institut France, Musee d'Orsay, Assemblee Nationale, Notre-Dame de Paris, and
the Conciergerie . Pass via fascinating houseboats and floating eating places
