Aida provided many interesting details during our Notre Dame tour that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. She helped us navigate the crowds in the cathedral and spoke clearly. We had about 20 people on the tour which I would say was the max.

The tour was wonderful. Our guide used great pictures on her iPad to show us the damage to the cathedral from the fire. This way we could see the Before and After of the restoration work. She was extremely knowledgeable of the history of the cathedral and the artwork inside.

Aida was a great guide! She did an excellent job of finding the right balance of history, art appreciation, culture and fun. She kept us moving along without making us feel rushed. She was extremely skilled at handling an unfortunate incident with another visitor to Notre Dame who was not in our group and complained that group tours should not be allowed. He was awful and Aida skillfully remained cool and polite and got him to move away from us and stop his rant. She quickly returned the group to a pleasant mood even though she must have been shook up herself- a mark of a skilled professional. We were so happy to get to experience the restored Notre Dame with Aida- thank you!

Notre Dame Cathedral was beautiful. The tour guide was pleasant and kind and engaging. There was perhaps a little too much time at each little chapel. While we appreciate the details, by the time we approach the hour, we were only 2/3 around the cathedral — overall a very good experience

the discovery of the statue of Charlemagne that I had never seen before, then this interior redone with an interesting performance of the guide of the before fire, fire then renovation....

It helped to skip the tour but it was difficult to find a space to hear the guide. There was too much information about religion and not enough about the technical aspects of the restoration of Notre Dame

Very disappointing tour, no earpieces, we couldn't hear anything! I paid for nothing.

We didn't particularly like it because the guide was so disorganized in her explanations. For people who have studied architecture or art history, Aida would definitely have been the right choice. But for people who just wanted general information about Notre Dame, it was simply too much. She spoke without pausing for breath.

This was not what I paid for there were no headphones and the guide could not guide us without the headphones. The entry was not skip the queue and as a result we had to queue and the entry was free. As a result I feel I have paid 138€ for nothing. I would like a full refund for the experience.

Aida our tour guide was excellent. She explained the history of the cathedral well, and did an excellent job explaining various aspects of the cathedral. I highly recommend this tour and Aida as a tour guide.

A guide who was certainly friendly and attentive, but his rapid delivery (especially in English) was tiring, and a few pauses would have been welcome.

This tour was excellent. I had been to Notre Dame before but without a tour guide. I was glad I booked a tour this time; the guide was very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot about this beautiful cathedral, both the outside and inside.

We appreciated not having to stand in a 30 minute line in hot sun. Guide was quite good & very informative. Although pricey, we were glad we booked the tour ahead of time.

Our guide was amazing!! She had a great personality -- she was very knowledgeable, kept the tour moving at a nice pace, and a lively, charming personality. My whole family ranging from 28 to 85 enjoyed her approach. Recommend!

Leaving it

It's a shame that the tour only focuses on the recent disaster. We would have liked it to also cover the history of Notre Dame de Paris.

Our guide, while knowledgeable, did not keep descriptions focused or consice. Descriptions became laborious and the tour went well past an hour. My husband and I became exhausted by the pace and left before she had finished.

Our tour guide Aida was wonderful. Also had a chance to participate in a worship service at Notre Dame after the tour. Truly memorable.

Not much - the info was not organized . It's like it was off the hip/ nothing historical & in a meaningful manner . Tried showing a group of 24 pics off a very small iPad . Kept telling us to gather round b & it was hot & crowded. Was originally told to meet @1;15 & tour would start @ 1:30. Waited on late people & didn't go inside until 1;55 for a interior tour. Left after 10 minutes inside

Tour guide was amazing & very knowledgeable. The place is stunning. Only thing is we didn’t realise we had to cover shoulders before entering so make sure you wear a t shirt or shawl

We really liked hearing about the restoration which is what we are interested in. It would have been good to have an understanding of what the tour was going to focus on and maybe have a leaning on either the restoration or the religious aspect of the cathedral. Also perhaps extend the tour as felt it was a little rushed towards the end. Difficult for the guide as the cathedral was so busy. She did a good job though and we enjoyed it.

Our guide was great. She was very knowledgable about the Cathedral and had a lot of photos of the Cathedral pre and immediately post fire to help show the contrast and the meticulous work that has been done to restore it. It was great that we had headsets so that we were always able to hear our guide, even if we were not right next to her. We didn't feel rushed and were able to take our time and take pictures. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Skipping the queue. Notre-Dame is very impressive and it was great to see the restoration. Guide was informative on the outside of the building. Once we were inside, the guide spent too long showing photos on her ipad and it was just not engaging. We ended up leaving the tour to do our own thing as did other couples and groups.

Everything was super organized and the guided tour was great!

It was amazing! Our guide Aida was fabulous and so sweet.

This was not a 1 hour tour as advertised so we had to leave before we got to see much of the cathedral. Our tour guide dwelled on details that could be interesting for those looking for a very deep dive into the church but not for my kids. A very small point, but she also didn’t comply with the churches dress code herself and tried to convince the security guard she shouldn’t have to cover her shoulders…just odd that the very person leading our tour would try to bend the rules. Probably a great experience for anyone looking for a very detailed tour (though you can probably find a better guide for even that) but I would not have booked this tour had I known it would be very detailed and longer than 1 hour.

Our thanks to Aida, our guide, who is both personable and well informed. She gave us a clear and comprehensive explanation of the Cathedrals’ history and its renovations, both past and ongoing. Very informative! Her English was excellent and knowledge of historical facts was terrific, and I appreciated all the photos. She showed us from her iPad of the fire damage and other things. I was super pleased with the guide and the tour.

Our tour guide, Aida, was great! We met promptly at 9:15 at designated spot and she began tour at 9:30. We were actually in the cathedral for over an hour with her. Highly recommend this tour

The head phones were clear and easy to operate Our guide was pleasant and of good nature There was a lot of repeating of historical material in the dialogue… a main focus was the fire restoration Scripting could be a lot better with support… perhaps to note how many times the guide uses the word “guys” as she spoke to the group We had been to the Opera house the day before with iPads and head phones and found it a lot more informative in comparison it was overall a better experience

Guide was a little unprepared in the beginning, which caused us to stand in the hot hot heat for several minutes. However, once inside she was very knowledgeable on the church.
