The Orsay Museum, also known as the Musée d’Orsay, is one of Paris’s most important cultural landmarks. It is located on the left bank of the Seine River, in the heart of the city. The museum is housed in a former railway station that was built between 1898 and 1900.

Today, the Orsay Museum displays an outstanding collection of art from the mid-19th to early 20th century. Visitors can explore sculptures, paintings, furniture, and photographs created mainly between 1848 and 1915. The museum is especially famous for its Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works. We had a wonderful experience! Entry to the museum was quick and completely hassle-free, which allowed us to spend more time enjoying the incredible collection. The Musée d’Orsay itself is absolutely beautiful – the architecture is stunning, the artworks are breathtaking, and we especially appreciated that the museum is air-conditioned, making the visit very comfortable even on a hot day. The Seine River cruise was the perfect way to end the day. We highly recommend going in the evening around sunset – seeing Paris in the golden light and watching the Eiffel Tower illuminated afterwards was truly unforgettable. Everything was well organized from start to finish. Highly recommended!
