When the sun goes down, Paris puts on its most famous show. This 1-hour Seine River cruise lets you take it all in from the water as bridges, palaces and monuments light up along the riverbanks. Because your ticket is flexible, you can board any departure during operating hours and time your cruise for sunset or the first lights of the evening.
Choose the cruise company that suits you best: Bateaux Parisiens departs from the foot of the Eiffel Tower, while Bateaux Mouches sails from Pont de l'Alma. There is nothing to print. Show the ticket on your phone at the pier, step on board and pick your spot, out on the open deck or inside the covered seating area.
Once underway, the river becomes a moving viewpoint over UNESCO-listed Paris. Watch the Eiffel Tower light up after dark, pass the long facade of the Louvre and the golden dome of Les Invalides, and spot the Musée d'Orsay in its former railway station. Around the Île de la Cité, Notre-Dame Cathedral stands lit against the night sky as the boat slips beneath illuminated landmark bridges such as the Pont Neuf.
Commentary on board tells the stories behind the sights you pass, so you learn about the city's history while you relax and enjoy the view.
To round off your evening, stop by Souvenirs of Champ de Mars near the Eiffel Tower and collect 5 free Paris souvenir keychains, a small keepsake of your night on the Seine.
