⚈ The Louvre Museum opens at 9:00 AM. The last entry is at 4:00 PM on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and until 8 PM on Fridays. The museum is closed on Tuesdays as well as on January 1, May 1, and December 25

⚈ There may be a wait at security. During high season this wait can be up to 20 minutes

⚈ Persons under 18 years and EU residents under 26 may enter free with a valid ID

⚈ Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the time indicated on your tickets, you will be subject to the same admission and waiting conditions as other visitors.

⚈ IMPORTANT NOTE:Visitors must pre-book tickets (adults, kids, youths, etc.) for the Olympic & Paralympic Games from July 1 to September 8. No entry without a pre-booked ticket.Download your tickets prior to your visit. Traffic restrictions will be in place around the Musée du Louvre & the Tuileries Garden. The 'Louvre-Rivoli' and 'Pyramides' stations will be operational; check transport directions before visiting the Louvre Museum.
